If you’re like many Americans, you’ve likely already started to think about the upcoming holiday season – even if just a very little bit. Thanksgiving (and the long weekend that accompanies it) marks the start of the fall/winter holiday season. If you are to believe the retail stores and their displays, you should have been planning already starting in August, it seems. But don’t worry, there’s still plenty of time to make plans.
With Thanksgiving coming up in about a month, we thought it would be a good idea to write a post about Thanksgiving -and its relatively-newly-minted sister holiday, Black Friday. If you’re traveling to southeastern Wisconsin to see friends or family, it’s time to start planning.
Thanksgiving in Wisconsin is a fun time, to be sure. It’s the time of year when the weather could do just about anything. There have been Thanksgivings in recent history where it’s 72 degrees and sunny and perfect for deep frying the turkey out in the backyard, and there have been others where it’s cold and there are several inches of snow on the ground. Those are theThanksgivings where it’s great to curl up on the couch and spend the day watching football.
But one thing is always the same: Thanksgiving is a great time to be with friends and family. If you’re traveling to our neck of the woods, take some stress out of your travel and planning and book a stay with us at Baymont Inn & Suites in Mequon. Not only will you get a great stay at a great price, you’ll be only minutes away from just about any type of Black Friday shopping you could imagine. Enjoy Thanksgiving, then wake up early and save big on whatever it is you are looking for.
So if you haven’t started planning for the start of holiday season, now’s a great time. We’d love to have you stay with us!
